not true... You believe that lie...? 800k is not 925k twice. Plus the reason his other ppvs were low is because his opponents sucked. Period!

Just people knew Sergio Martinez was hurt and didn't buy he and Cotto bout. Fans will not be fools for Bob Arum any more.

I completely agree with this because ive noticed most of floyds fans are casuals who are riding the hype train to have something to brag about. I hate to say it but there is a racial component to it. I think most of the floyd fans on here are legit fans and will stick by him in a loss.

From what I seen, most Floyd fans are fans of boxing. Good example; when Pac got KO'ed by Marquez, you couldn't find a Pac fan here for a 6 months. Not talking about regular fans, just the casuals and extremists. Another good example, Floyd fans are happy the fight is happening, no excuses win or loose. Now look at all the threads about the excuses for Pac... They range from Pac being a cristian to "he doesn't need to win, he is a winner in life to the latest Parkinson. Is hilarious

most Boxing fans don't turn on fighters for losing 1 fight. That sounds so ridiculous. 99% of fighters out there lose fights.

Floyd doesn't really have many fans, he has people who turn up to cheer for the other guy and some crossover urban casual fans who root for the black guy.

If he loses, a lot of the people who support him based on race will dissipate and that will leave his real fans, which you will probably be able to count on one hand.

    Casual? Hype ?

Question just how long has Floyd been Hype ?
And how long do have to follow floyd career before you're not considered casual ?

Considering Floyd has been in title fights since 98? what is that? 17 years !! Long a$$ f'ing hype train you ask me :verysad

Good precedent. Winning is the brand, if it's not winning most are not interested. It's Ja Rule syndrome, they go from "hot" to a joke in the space of 12 rounds and so called "fans" back away.

I don't buy the race argument in 2015. It doesn't hold water really. Boxing is such a Global Sport now anyway. This isn't 1910 anymore.

Ive been a Margarito fan since I first met him in Ft Worth Tx many years ago when he Ko'd Buck Smith. I'm still a Margarito fan. I know he's honest & never cheated & what happened to him was criminal. His career & good name ruined by a blatant lie by a worthless POS
