It's been on UK Radio this morning that there are strong rumours coming out of Vegas that he has injured one of his hands. Can anyone confirm this in the US?
I havent read anything on the web or on hear which is where they would get it from surley. Hes hands are always bad right?
Just on talksport radio this morning. Every hour, the same headline that strong rumours coming out of Las Vegas that Floyd has a hand injury.
Floyd certainly appeared to be favoring his left hand at the end of the last 24/7 episode when he and roger went fullspeed with the mitts. This is sad news.
this is a case of getting the excuse in early, incase he loses. Then he's got something to fall back on. It's a tactic already used by DLH before the Hopkins fight.
Floyds hands have bothered him for years. Make no mistake though, he is one tough little son of a *****. It won't make any difference, he'll win .. unfortunatly.
maybe a UK journo has spread the news first? this report has only just broken as well, it's 12:59pm in the UK, the US is still waking up/asleep.
If he is injured he should state it now becasue if he does loose (which he wont) then people wont says he was making it up.
It's just a ploy to make people bet on Hatton, all they're saying is "it's a rumour from the Mayweather camp that Floyd has hurt one hand".. BULL****, they played a video of Floyd hitting the mits and apparently telling Roger to "ease up"..(which i didn't hear him say) and he was hitting them as brilliant as he always does, there's no way Floyds people would leak it even if it was true.
^ Floyd was clearly favoring his left hand during the mitt routine 24/7 episode 3. He used both hands when Roger went half speed, but at the end of the episode( full speed mitt routine ) floyd only used his right hand to punch and block. Even before hearing these rumors, I thought to myself ..something is wrong with Mayweather's left hand. This fight is now a tossup.
