They can fight 100 more times. The outcome will still be Floyd. Ortiz is just not that good period.

OK but just remember he (the ref) says lets go brings his hands together singling the fighter to fight, he then look out side asking how much time was left on the clock.

cause as you know, the ref has no idea how much time is left on the clock.. but the outside ref does, and you will notice he (the outside ref) picks up the count as soon as Ortiz hits the ground. which tells me everyone, the outside ref, and time keeper, was in agreement, that he (the ref) had singled for the fight to resume.

Ortiz doesn't want or need a rematch. Last thing he needs is 12 rounds of unanswered right crosses kissing off of his dome.

The better man one. Ortiz got out of it relatively healthy and will be a major player at 147. He nor his camp want a rematch right now. It is over. Let it go.

Correction Ortiz wants the rematch , he said so at the press conference .

It was only 4 rounds , That doesnt tell us much . no one was the better man

Rematch ain't happening. Ortiz came to fight, but we all know the time you can give Floyd the most trouble is at the beginning of the fight. Floyd pretty much won every single round up until the KO. By the third round he already had Ortiz frustrated. Ortiz tried but he isn't ready. No rematch necessary.

Side Note: Floyd usually gets stronger as the fight moves on. Ortiz would have had is eye closed by mid-fight and possibly other abrasions to go along with it.

Floyd couldn't get the jab going and keep the distance off Ortiz. It would have been interesting. Mosley 18 power shots landed thru 4. Ortiz 28 thru 4.
Ortiz's size and aggression could have closed the gap, at the least it was turning into a real nice fight. Should be a rematch asap. I think there will be and people will watch.

Was there a count? Was it marked as a KO win in the books?

    Seems pretty legit to me.

That was to be expected. Ortiz likes to throwdown. He was much more active than Shane was.

Some people, but not enough to raise hell about wanting a rematch. Go read what the analyst's are saying. Floyd was beating him easily.

Rematches are usually warranted in competitive fights and/or controversial fights. The fight wasn't very competitive (FMJ won all 4 rounds pretty clearly) and although some are looking for a reason for the ending to be controversial, it wasn't really since if there was no KO in the 4th, it was going to come pretty soon as Ortiz was already weakening and his face was swelling up. A rematch would only have Ortiz looking for a way out in the very 1st round and attempting to headbutt and cut Floyd near his eye this time instead of his mouth.

Ortiz left his hands down in front of the most accurate man in the sport, seconds after head butting him. What did he expect to happen lol.

Was it a legitimate victory? Ofcourse it was. Ortiz made a mistake and paid for it. Was it sporting? Hell on but neither was ortiz's headbutt.

Floyd needs to move no now. Khan, berto, pac, cotto or canelo next hopefully.

Only other fight to make is Khan, Pacquiao, SMM.

Ortiz is a very likeable guy to the mainstream and offering the rematch is the right thing to do and the most likely next fight for Floyd.
I think Floyd likes that Ortiz respects him and looks up to him. I would not complain about a rematch or disagree that FLoyd was winning easy and would make easier work of Ortiz in the rematch, but Ortiz is active like you said which makes for a fun fight.
