+1 They are in the middle of celebrating the win but too ashamed to really say it's KO of the Year since they know deep inside that the win was via CHEAP SHOT! They could argue that what PBF did was Legal but at the same time DEEP INSIDE THEY KNOW IT'S HALLOW WIN INDEED :!::smoke
ko of the year has to have a legit opponent who has a strong chin. That fight was not a legit KO win.
Why not? Action was called in, Ortiz got dazed from the LH, Floyd applied the RH finisher, game over. Technically it was legit, and was the most talked about KO of the year. Came out of nowhere too, after Ortiz was enoying his best moments, adding to it's value.
The punch was unsportsman like but it was completely legal within the rules, Ortiz spent too much time apologizing and paid the price. I dont blame Mayweather for hitting him, Ortiz tried to break mayweathers jaw with the most obvious headbutt seen in recent years. Ortiz tried to break the rules then got knocked out because of it, but this isnt the KO of the year. KO of the year for me goes to Cote with his knockout, it was just a sweet clean shot that you could hear a mile away.
Ortrees, the mental midget, was being broken down first physically then mentally and was looking for a way out. The problem with trees is that they have no heart. KO of the year . . . Hell NO . . . there have been a lot better . . . sweet moment though, disposing of the smiling imbecile! Definitely, a highlight and the most memorable in the sport this year
