Floyd is a so called "

    " that fought

    Carlos Baldomir @ 147
Oscar De La Hoya @ 154
    Ricky Hatton @ 145

Manny Pacquiao is the so called modern day "

    " that fought

    David Diaz @ 135
Oscar De La Hoya @ 145
    Ricky Hatton @ 140

    1. Baldomir posessed the WBC, IBA, & IBO Belts and was coming off beating Judah & was @ his natural weight
    2. Oscar posessed the WBC light middle weight belt & was coming off beating mayorga & was @ his natural weight
    3. Ricky Hatton Was Fighting for Floyd's Belt but was coming off beating Jose Luis Castillo & was

      @ his natural weight

    on the other hand

    1. David Diaz posessed the WBC light weight title and was coming off beating Erik Morales who announced his retirement directly after the fight & was @ his natural weight
    2. Oscar De La Hoya Posessed no belt and was coming off beating steve forbes @ 150 unimpressively & was

      his natural weight
    3. Ricky Hatton posessed the IBO light welterweight belt was coming off to beating Pauli Malignaggi & was Fighting @ his natural weight

    You could argue that

    Floyd Beating Baldomir>Manny beating Diaz
    Floyd Beating Oscar>Manny beating Oscar
    Manny Beating Hatton>Floyd Beating Hatton

    In my opinion

    ^^^^^

no..... floyd used his bicycle, pot shotted, and had constipation with those guys..

on the other hand, the midget pac obliterated, shot to pieces, took all the rounds and retired those 3 and flushed them like a diarrhea in the toilet bowl...:lol::lol::lol:

so, the midget got the upper hand :yep:yep:yep

    end the thread LOL

lol probably..... i just started to think about pairing floyd and manny up and thought about their past 3 opponents and in reality... you could argue both of their last 3 were "cherry picks"... well 2 of them were... for floyd hatton & baldomir with oscar being a actual challenge since he was at his normal weight and was coming off a big win... for pacman you could say odlh & david diaz were "cherry picks" and hatton was an actual big risk because he was coming off beating pauli and he was at his natural weight.....

Mayweather had time to properly acclimatise to new weights.

He pot shotted his way to victories.

Pac came from a much lower weight and jumped straight in with these guys.

He ****ing destroyed all of them.

    That's the difference.

And then the other thing is, Pac is looking for fights with people like Cotto and Mayweather himself.

Whereas Mayweather retired and then picked on a small guy for his comeback.

Don't even start with that split-decision bull****. Only a blind ***** would have scored that for ODLH!

    :-(

floyd started at 130 and won up to 154 = 24 poudns
manny started at 107 and won up to 145 = 38 pounds

so yeah pacman came up more from his start but it was more gradual...

it would be interesting to see if floyd could go up to 160 and beat felix sturm who is the current WBA middleweight title holder....

i suppose that would explain why there was a small buzz about floyd going up to fight pavlik...realistically their accomplishments arent too far off for one another
