I was chilling then got to think what was Floyd's last prime significant opponent? At his opponent's optimal weight?Mosley was past his best, DLH was past his best, Marquez was old and well past his best at 130-135lbs. Judah was coming off a loss and past his best, Gatti was past his best. Hatton was outboxed and beaten up at 147lbs by Luis Collazo, I don't really know what Mayweather intended to prove by fighting a guy who got beat up at 147lbs and who was a 140lb champion.

You really have to go all the way back to when he faced Jose Luis Castillo at 135lbs, Castillo was at his prime and the champion at 135lbs. Mayweather won the 2nd fight by about 2 rounds, but he clearly lost the 1st fight with Castillo. But Castillo gave him his toughest fights, even the 2nd one was tough for him, I find that highly ironic.

    He fought Castillo at 135.

Hatton was prime or thereabouts..the weight wasnt ideal for him but the result wouldnt have been any different had Money fought him at 140.

you can't really say hatton was past his best against mayweather, he was undefeated going into that bout!!

only criticism of floyd in that fight was that he should of battered hatton, and knocked him out earlier (like pacman did)

hatton was never in their league

    Floyd don't do prime.

Not since he left 135 anyway.

Here's Hatton hanging on for dear life in the 12th round at 147lbs from a fighter who has 4 KO's in his entire career and wasn't even a big player at 147lbs...

Good and prime are different questions:

As for prime here's the list:
    Hatton (but not "prime" weight)
    Judah
    Corley
    N'duo
    Castillo
    Chavez
    Hernandez
    Corrales
    Manfredy

So basically none since he left Arum....unless you wanna include Hatton, which I'm okay with.
