Floyds logic for proposing Berto and Mayfield is solid

Exactly! The difference is that when Pac fights guys like Rios and Algieri....his PPV numbers suffer badly. Floyd still did ridiculous numbers with Maidana, Guerrero and Ortiz considering how bad the opponents were.

Ridiculous. How can you not be angry at Pac for what he did to his fans? Stop blaming Floyd and open your eyes ffs.Your hate is blinding you.

Wow, your reading skills are seriously bad. Oh wait... You obviously are too f*cking stupid and lazy to read,( other than the thread title) or else you'd realize you're agreeing with me.

If you don't read the post...don't reply to it.

First, he did not beat Pac convincingly and second, I agree his fans will pay for just about anything involving Floyd. They think his money is their money

Maybe I'm stupid too, because the way your OP reads to me, you guys are making slightly different arguments. It looked to me that you were saying that Floyd threw out Mayfield and Berto in order to see what level of opposition would be acceptable. PBA is arguing that those names were thrown out for the sole purpose of making his actual choice look better when he decides on him. So bascially, Mayweather has no intention of fighting Berto or Mayfield. However, he knows he will get a lot of back lash as people will think he will fight them, and then they will be more ok with his actual opponent who looks a lot better in comparison to Berto and Mayfield.

He's getting sixty Bucks out of me no matter who he fights. It might be his last fight and if not, he still manned up and got in with Pac so he's good in my book. I've vented about my frustrations with him already. And I was just about ready to give up on him this past October if he didn't get it together. But he gave is the Pac fight, and a lot of other great fights. Since he returned from retirement he hasn't taken any cupcakes. And topped it off with Pacquiao.
He has my cash in September. Don't care about the opponent.

Sometimes fighting a no hoper becomes a kind of freakshow as opposed to fighting an acceptable but nothing special opponent... it brings in the curiosity so they can either see someone whitewashed or put up an illogical barrier of resistance and the other guy then becomes a laughing stock.

I really believe he's taking the **** though and it's only keeping his name in the media and on the fans tongues.

He should've retired after the Manny fight. Everything from this point on will pale in comparison, especially from a monetary standpoint.

But he still has 1 fight remaining on his SHowtime contrcat and is guaranteed a minimum of 32 million regardless of who he fights. If anyone in the sport deserves an easy fight, it's FLoyd.

I still maintain he's better off fighting Cotto in September. It's one of the few fights out there that can enhance his resume by adding another lineal title to his collection and he could probably make upwards of 75 million in that matchup.

Name Floyd's last fight his farewell fight. That alone should sell. I would watch. Also make sure the fighter he picks will actually want to beat Floyd and is not there for a payday.

I'm flying to vegas for his last fight. I don't care who it is. He has done enough in the sport of boxing. It doesn't matter who his opponent is he will never get any credit. He just beat the #2P4P and still doesn't get any credit.
