Floyd's most exciting fight?

    Floyd is often accused of fighting safe and being in boring fights, the famous Merchant quote being: 'maybe he bored himself to tears'. Often, as in his fight with Mosley, the sheer one-sidedness of his fights make them tedious to watch.

    So which of Mayweather's fights WAS exciting and in particular what was his most exciting fight?

    For me I think its the Chavez fight. Chavez really brought it that night and for the most part Floyd stood in front of him, exchanging.

    I've put up a poll with some of my favourites but feel free to ignore it and pick your own.

    Chavez was good, De La Hoya werent bad, Castillo was a good fight.

    Hard to say, the N`dou fight was pretty good as was Castillo 1, DLH, Hatton & Chavez... all those guys made Floyd work hard & produced some good moments.... the majority of his other fights were - like Whitaker efore him - all about the sheer artistry & superiority he shows in outclassing opponents.... personally, I enjoy watching Mayweather fight more than any other fighter of the era with the exception of a prime Morales.

    His fight against Augustus was hands down his best fight in terms of entertainment, in my opinion anyways.

    The Corley fight was pretty damn good too. So were the Gerena, Hernandez, & Manfredy fights though the Manfredy fight was only 2 rounds.

    I spose that was probably the most enjoyable if you're a Floyd fan. Not the most exciting otherwise though;)
