Maybe when the Almighty God comes down from the heavens, and laces up a pair of gloves and faces Floyd.. I'M STILL PICKING MAYWEATHER. I understand people wants KOs, MMA,WWE. I've no problem with that. But if you box or know boxing, it's so much more. And Floyd displays them all. Here's a question. if your kids were learning how to box,(PROFESSIONALLY), which boxer would you have teaching them???..My sons have been boxing for two years, and there's plenty Hopkins, Toney, and especially Mayweather on the tube. Point im trying to make is,basic boxing IQ, sweet science, hit and dont get hit, the majority of the time trumps all. What you guys opinion???

I don't think anyone beats Floyd right now unless Floyd some how gets old overnight, and/or he has a bad night like Leonard Ellerbee gets hurt. A bigger fighter with actual skills, a great inside fighter, and a peak-a-boo fighter would give him hell though, but we don't have any around as of now.

Although I agree with you, you haven't said anything that hasn't been said 100,000 times for the last 1-2 years.

Other than Pac making him uncomfortable for awhile, I don't see anything out there to trouble him much. I thought Williams would give him a rough time but on closer inspection the chances are he gets a boxing lesson.

People need to realise that there are no Tommy Hearns/ Ray leonard/ Durans out there at the moment. Pacquaio aside there are alot of good, but not great fighters, and Floyd would make the vast majority of them look average. He's not gonna fight them all either, it's just the way it is.

So if Pacquiao wins you've already got an excuse lined up?

People counting on Floyd winning won't need any excuses.

Are you talking about how you and your friends will say pacquiao was too small after he loses?

What's this thread even have to do with pacquiao?:patsch

actually not a bad statement at all...I believe the TS is basically saying, "Floyd grew up on this $hit and that plays a factor wether YOU OR ME LIKE IT OR NOT"..

I BELIEVE ANY FIGHTER WITH THE FOOTWORK FLOYD HAS AS WELL AS THE ABILITY TO KNOW HOW TO "TECHNICALLY FIGHT HURT" IS DANGEROUS...

IF I WERE TO MAKE A THREAD ABOUT MANNY PACQUIAO ABOUT HOW FLOYD HAS TO WATCH HIS KO POWER FOR A B AND C REASON THAN U WOULDNT HAVE SAID $HIT:deal

The only way I really see Floyd losing is if he went to 168lbs which isn't going to happen or if he just fights too long.

It has a lot to do with Pacquiao because Pacquiao is very likely his next opponent.

Furthermore, you said the ONLY way you see Floyd losing is if he somehow gets old overnight>

    A + B = C

A (Next Opponent very likely Pacquiao) + B (you said only way he loses is if he gets old overnight) = C (If Pacquiao beats Floyd it's because he got old overnight).

It's quite simple really. In any case...you never really answered.

I can answer you easily on my part. If Pacquiao loses by a wide margin to Floyd or loses by KO then it is quite simply because Floyd is the better boxer.

    So?
