I don't believe his heights gave him any trouble in the era of deathly fight and doubt 12 with feather fisted Floyd would bother him. Walcott may have been the single hardest hitter in boxing history. Just as Sailor Tom Sharkey and Choynski. Old time rules or now the great Walcott fought Gans, Langford, LaVigne, Dixie and other greats. He flattens Floyd, 10 count, within the 12. Would love to find a biography of this great fighter.
Pretty much agree, but i think he edges Napoles and is sort of a toss up with Leonard. I haven't followed Walcott enough to comment on him.
Every fighter Mayweather fought has been bothered by his power. It's part of why he could slow the pace better than a guy like Stevie Johnston.
He could win any of them IMO, but doubtful all of them. He could lose any of them but again I doubt all of them. I lean towards 3-4 or 2-5. It seems very few people can discuss him rationally (politics, religion and Mayweather...the 3 party killers)people either hate him and overly exaggerate every critique or they are obnoxious fan boys who are so stupidly arrogant that it compels others to take an extreme knee jerk reaction in the opposite way! I don't particularly like him but I do appreciate his skills and legacy and am glad that I got to live through and watch another era of a historically top notch talent...even if his personality and style are not my preference
