He was a armed robber. I could go on and on. Listen boxers aren't saints get off your high horse you're a fan of a boxer who has done some questionable things in his past.

You've literally just named 4 fighters who I'm not fans of. Only Qawi, since armed robbery is nowhere near as bad as the others and he sought out redemption and acknowledged it.
I am, Emile Griffith has a very questionable past, and so do a few other of my favourites but saying "no one died" as a defence of what happened is ****ing jokes, which was my point; not that you shouldn't be a PBF fan.

And if you are a fan of someone who does bad ****, you shouldn't put others down for being fans of people who do bad **** as well. Neither Margo or Floyd are saints.

This thread is about his resume why bring up his relationship with the beautiful Josie Harris of blessed memory(mother of 3 of his 4 children). Truth is we will never know what happened between them and it’s not our business. Let’s stick to boxing.

Difference is Margarcheato is a scum bag cheat who should have been jailed for 20 years for using loaded gloves. People have died in the ring before so cheating like that is terrible. Thankfully Shane Mosley, Pacquiao and Cotto delivered the deserved punishment on him.

All of them sought redemption. My point is in a sport like boxing you wont have a room full of saints most of these guys have demons outside of the ring.

I'm in no way defending it. But one man is illegally assaulting other professionals, the other is beating smaller females.

    Big difference. Both are pricks.

Hatton, less time at the weight, fighting in US, not allowed to get inside by Cortez and fight his fight.
Mayweather probably beats him anyway but does Hatton get stopped the way he did if he had been allowed to fight inside?

Corrales, good win for Mayweather, Corrales essentially forgotten now by most.

Canelo, another fraud who's record and status has been manufactured and should not be umbeaten. Style made for Floyd, not yet in his prime, good win all the same.

All decent wins, none come close to being career defining fights for a supposedly ATG.

It’s not be proven he beat any females. He took a plea bargain to prevent his young son being put on the stand. I am not saying he is guilty or not guilty but this thread is not the forum for that.

You gotta be kidding me.... this is just so cringe worthy!! :duh

He went to jail for three months so his kids would not testify? If floyd did nothing, let the kid testily FFS!! Not to mention, all the Floyd fanatics who claim his innocence, I guess every time a charge came out from a female, he must not have been simply able to afford a good attorney to get him off these 'baseless' charges... :grazy:

I guess the other charges he pleas no contest too must have had a good reason for those as well. I know I would please no contest if I was innocent

Just for those who don’t know as I will not communicate with some trolls there is a difference between a guilty plea and a no contest plea. No contest does not imply guilt.

And WHY would an innocent man, a professional athlete and celebrity, with the money to attract top notch lawyers, NEED to plead no-contest if he did nothing? Oh wait...which time? There were a few:

    Mayweather’s record of domestic abuse:

2001: Mayweather punches Melissa Brim, the mother of his daughter, Iyanna, in the neck during an argument over child support at a Las Vegas mall. In March 2002, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, he pleaded guilty to two counts of battery against Brim and received a suspended sentence.

2003: Mayweather is accused of punching two female friends of Josie Harris, mother to three Mayweather children, at a Las Vegas nightclub and chasing them out of the club. Mayweather receives a suspended sentence after being convicted of two counts of battery, according to the Las Vegas Sun. He’s ordered to undergo “impulse control” counseling. The verdict is later vacated and the charges “dismissed per negotiations.”

2005: Mayweather stands trial for felony battery after allegedly punching and kicking Harris and dragging her out of his Bentley after she confronts him about cheating. Harris changes her story on the witness stand and says she lied to police about the fight and Mayweather’s history of abuse. Mayweather is acquitted.

2010: Mayweather and Harris have split, but she still lives in a house Mayweather owns. Mayweather confronts Harris at the house for dating NBA guard C.J. Watson. After police head off the initial fight, Mayweather returns shortly before dawn and beats Harris in the back of the head and threatens to beat his children if they call the police, according to the arrest report. In an account given to Las Vegas police, Harris’ son Koraun, then 10 years old, says, “I saw my dad was on my mom and my mom said go to the office my dad was hitting her… my dad kick my mom and he told me to go in my room.” Mayweather, who contends that he was trying to restrain Harris, is charged with multiple felonies. He pleads guilty to misdemeanor domestic assault and harassment and is sentenced to 90 days in jail, the Associated Press reported. He’s released a month early for good behavior.

You'll ignore all this though....come up with a reason this is not-important or whatever.
