You know full well that I think Floyd would always have beaten Manny.

He was denied an injection before the fight.

That’s a fact.

He was operated on by a world respected surgeon the following week.

That’s also a fact.

Yes, if he’d have been 100% healthy, Floyd may still have beaten him anyway. But saying that he was making excuses about his shoulder is very poor from you. It’s very poor when we know it was operated on 5 days later.

Respected surgeons don’t operate on people unless it’s absolutely necessary.

If this had happened to Floyd, you and Olu would have spammed the forum with articles.

Real talk ppl hate on fights like Ortiz or Guerrero,

but realistically Ortiz vs Beto was a hyped fight Berto was unbeaten and #3 WW behind only May/Pac, Ortiz came in upset and stopped him and made himself WBC champ and the next highest rated challenger,
Guerrero was P4P rated for winning 2 championships(126/30) along with 2 other division(35/47) title becoming a 4-weight titlist jumped to 147 fought 2 top 10 WW beat them both down to earn the fight if anybody was going to get the fight then that seems like how you would do it.

Even the Maidana fight him beating down Broner and taking his 0 was maybe the 2nd best win at 147 that year and Maidana was the WBA Champ and at that point in time the only clear loss he’s had was vs Alexander his first fight at 147 with a new trainer. To top it off Maidana arguably gave Mayweather the tough test fight of his career I legit think a draw could easily be called for that fight.

Compare and contrast to say Tim Bradley who looks good on paper but at one point in time Bradley could have arguably lost like 6 fights in a row yet ppl complain about Canelo the Bradley-Pac I while I had it a draw ppl consider that a blatant robbery, then the provonikov fight I’m sure we ALLL remember that ass whooping, the the Marquez fight dude Marquez won on a judges card he’ll I thought he outboxed Bradley but at SD vs a 40 y.o. when you fight somebody is just as important as who you fight Guerrero and Maidana are borderline great fighters and while Morales is a ATG fighter Mayweather beating a prime Guerrero coming off stopping 2 top 10 welters is better than Manny beating Morales who was coming off a loss to Barrera in fight I a loss to Raheem in fight II and a loss to manny himself in fight III

 

I'm talking strictly about the Morales fight. Many people, especially fighters have egos and can't come to terms with the truth. How many fighters have come out with a new excuse after they've had time to think and talk to people post fight. Pac had major issues leading up to the fight, and instead speaks about gloves and cut issues.

What came afterwards could be the truth, damage control, or an ego that can't admit to a loss. A lot of his losses instead of giving credit, he brings up sock, cramps, shoulder, needles and more. TBE = the best excuses.

Bradley was in a wheelchair after losing again to Pac, this time officially. It was clear as day he was hurt from the second round onwards. Did he use that as an excuse as to why he lost?

Just because C.J screams Margacheato has been completed exonerated does not make it so. His punishment by the commission was never commuted. He was banned and he served his ban.
