HORRIBLE analysis, it's like saying pacquiao is better than Mayweather because he ko'd Hatton in the 2nd while he gave a close fight to PBF 'til the 10th! New to boxing??

The floyd hate has just become crazy. It's one thing to not like a fighter but come on. Margo and Cotto elite and above Floyd? are you kidding me. this just proves that these people are full on ******. Floyd would have no issue with Margo and would beat Cotto IMO in a good fight.

 

Margo was never elite and if Floyd fought them he wouldn't have the kind of money he does now. Even if he did fight them they would be labeled the "usual Floyd opponent who had no chance" and people would be fussing for him to fight someone else. Beating DLH was the best thing to happen for his career as the power/status went to him and he's been a huge name ever since. Not his best win/performance but he finally got the recognition he deserved.

 

Not as much as if he never fights Ramos.

Suavecito will despatch of Rigondeaux like he stole his lunch, before stepping on up. Floyd can still make 140 lets get this mother on in early 2013.

 

Who has he fought in the last 8 years to give him the stock he currently has? Well, Ortiz is a tough, young fighter but who other than him?
The last 8 years:
-A 40 yr old Shane Mosley who was overtrained after training for Berto for 4 months only to have him pull out because of the Haitian earthquake. Came back and had another 3 month camp for Mayweather.
-JMM who came up 2 weight divisions to fight Floyd.
-Ricky Hatton...came up a weight class and was past his prime at an early age due to boozing, cocaine, and dropping 40 pounds of weight before each fight.
-Oscar De la hoya..one of my favorite fighters but was shot as well when he fought Mayweather. He had fought one fight in the 2 1/2 years prior to Mayweather.
-Carlos Baldomir...don't have to explain this one.
-Zab Judah. Shot at the time they fought and was always overrated imo. Had just come off a clear decision loss to one of the worst welterweight champs in boxing history (Carlos Baldomir).
-Sharmba Mitchell...not a very good fighter and also not a true welter.
-Arturo Gatti...never a great fighter but was fun to watch. He was definitely shot from all the wars he had been. Was never a good technical boxer though.
-Henry Bruseles...ha
-Damarcus Corley...ha
-Philip N'Dou...ha
-Vicoriano Sosa..once again, ha.

The past 10 years he has fought sub-par competition and always stayed away from the dangerous top competition UNTIL they had visibly slowed down. Why was he fighting these bums when Cotto, Margarito, Mosley, etc. were here to fight 5 years ago and were somewhat in their prime? Now he has waited for Pac to slow down...not taking the fight for 3 years but now wanting it when Pac has slowed down himself? Pacman hit his Welterweight prime 2 years ago when he beat Cotto. He has slowed dramatically since then and technically I don't think he is as sharp as he was when he fought Cotto. Oh well, there is my rant.

 

Fight Margo for 10 million or fight DLH and Hatton for 20 million each, which route would you take?
