How is he a poor combo puncher?

he showed great combinations vs Hatton/Ortiz/Cotto

He just doesn't throw it because he doesn't need to. He can potshot to victory pretty easily while counting bills in his head.

He isn't poor at finishing, he just fights safe

Punching power- I'll give you that one.

He hits hard enough to keep 154 pounders honest, not hard enough to ko them.

i gotta disagree with poor finisher...everytime he has had someone hurt a stoppage usually follows.....i mean hurt not stunned though.

lack of power is paulie thats why he got ran over floyd punching power is underrated. he throws great combos when he chooses to throw them. if he gets a fighter hurt he will go for the finish. floyd is not the type to throw 100 punches around and he not an a aggressive fighter either. as a long time fans of his there are times were i wished he would have just went ham on someone but i come to learn thats not his style.

Floyd does have weaknesses but those aren't any of them.
    1. The philly shell is vulnerable to a jab
    2. He is uncomfotable firing against someone with speed or good head movement. (Until he gets your timing down, then its game over) This is why he is a slow starter but a great finisher.
    3. He now only fights in spurts so someone who can cut off the ring and bring constant pressure could probably be effective.
    4. He has brittle hands.

Those aren't weaknesses.. Those are just things he didn't need to do but could and have when he wanted to.. I don't understand the poor finisher part though.. How many championships rounds have he lost?
