Floyd's welterweight resume is so pathetic that Ortiz would be his best win

Just a reflection of how poor his level of competition has been at welter.

Ortiz is a better challenge than:

    Judah - a never was
Baldomir - journeyman with a lot of heart
Hatton - a pitbull of a JWW who didn't possess the skills or the necessary power to ever be a strong welter
Marquez - well we all know that was a complete joke
Mosley - Mosley was a much better fighter than Ortiz but by the time Floyd fought him he wasn't anything near his prime

I don't want this fight to happen at all... but Mayweathers level of competition at Welter is embarrassing

    fail thread

    Zab > Ortiz

    Zab accomplished more at welter.

Victor had a good win on the weekend, but it was against Berto. Let's not get carried away

Zab coming off a loss againts Baldomir and his 9 losses
Ortiz would be coming off a win against an undefeated champion

I like Zab but his achievements are what... going 1-1 with the legendary CORY SPINKS!!! - then getting beaten the **** out of by Cotto, Clottey, Floyd and Baldomir.

Yeah... Judah was a great welter

I don't know what's funnier the possible match-Up or you already declaring Floyd the winner... lol

(Second "Freudian slip" I have seen on the board today)

    Mayweather: 1,000,000 & 0 (Fantasy style)

PBF never had had a victory over a "Berto" at welter!

I'd give Ortiz a little more time before comparing him to Zab Judah

at least more than one welterweight win

Typical Pac fan relying on boxrec and didn't actually watch boxing back when Floyd fought Judah, Baldo and Hatton.

Mayweather won 34 of 36 minutes against Mosley. Let's see how Pac does in a couple of weeks, you fruitcake.

Zab at least has a pretty good win over the erratic Cory Spinks and Baldomir at least has a good win over Zab. None the less both come from a 147 era weaker than even todays.

Mosley was a good win win. Yes, old as the earth itself but coming off a good win over the dangerous Antonio Margarito where he delivered a beatdown for the ages.

Hatton proved in his fight with Collazo that he was a hair above the level of Collazo at 147, who is a journeyman.

The Mosley win is his best win in my book at 147. And a wide UD win over Ortiz would be on the same level as his win over Zab or Baldomir.

Zab accomplished enough to be a lineal champ at welter. Victor has managed to win one belt so far from a guy who became champion through a vacancy caused by Floyd being gone.

    Check yourself.
