Floyd's welterweight resume is so pathetic that Ortiz would be his best win

You didn't use any reasoning... you just listed the welter names on his record... that doesn't dispute what i said

Don't get me wrong, I like Collazo a lot. I always felt he got shafted by Hatton and Berto as far as he never got the rematches he deserved. His endurance and resilience in the Mosley fight was admirable.

Journeyman was too harsh but I see him as nothing more than a contender really. His winning of a vacant belt came during a weakish period in 147 history and I always felt that a past prime Mosley showed Collazo's level which is that of contendership. I didn't watch his fight with Gonzalez but his best years where like nearly a decade before his fight with Collazo and he had already taken a beating off Oscar and Tszyu by then.

Fast fighter with respectable fundementals but he would have been a footnote in the Whitaker/Tito/Oscar/Mosley stretch the division enjoyed in the 1990's, early 2000's.

He also lost to spinks and got knocked down in the process. Not to mention in the rematch he was getting outboxed for until the knockout

Despite this, you still said Mosley had a good chance to win. So wouldn't someone you think has a good chance to beat Floyd and Floyd goes out and beats him be a good victory?

Id make Ortiz even money with Zabk an even match up IMO., Would be a great fight though.. Back and forth... If Zab fought a smart technichal figght he would win.. But we know he wouldnt and would eventually mix it up and try and get flasy. When he does i can see Ortiz making him do another James Brown ring Dance(See Tszyu fight).

He would beat Baldomir.. Style wise Baldomir dont have what it takes.. HEs not a big puncher and he cant out box Vic. Vic wouldn offset anything Balxo brought.

At WW Hatton gets KTFO:dead At Jw even money.

.. IF Vic doesnt finish Marquez when hurting him . ICan sse Marquez adapiting and outboxign him in avery cloe fight..

Rating Ortiz over Hatton is not a knock on Hatton. If you follow these posters patterns and connect the dots....It All ends-up with being Post about how much they Hate Floyd. There was one thread titled: "FLOYD HAS ALREADY HAD TWO TUNE-UPS...MARQUEZ AND MOSLEY".

Marquez and Mosley were tune-ups for Floyd right?, But these would be considered QUALITY FIGHTS FOR PACQUIAO. Judah was a nobody right? But Cotto fans rank that as a his Best Win. These Fools know how good Floyd is. That's why there are 15-20 threads a day about someone they claim...THEY HATE. If he was really a Poor Quality Fighter and Overrated....they would talk about SOMETHING ELSE.

    How is it getting owned?

If Floyd were to fight and beat Ortiz it would be the best win on his record at 147

No one has said anything to effectively dispute it... all i have heard is crying that Zab is a good fighter when everyone knows he got beaten by a fighter as basic as baldomir

Really? Ortiz just beat a guy who was bartely tested at 147 himself. And now if Floyd beats Ortiz, it's better then his wins over Judah or Shane? :patsch Rubbish...

Also add in how much trash they talked about Berto yet Ortiz was close to only getting a draw.
