Floyd's win over Corrales much more dominant than Crawford over Postol

Corrales was 33-0 with 28 KOs.
Corrales ballooned to 147 on fight night from 130
Floyd wrecked him, landing over 220 shots on Corales.
This was TC's time to shine and he fought a careful defense first fight
This is why TC will never be no TBE

Thats not to say that TC can go far. I see him getting a title at 147. I see him getting HOF status. But his star power will be limited if he fights like this again.

That's not TBE's fault. The fight was contracted at 130, both men were 130 pound fighters. Corrales should have come in at 130.

No one said it was his fault. But it doesn't change the circumstances surrounding Corrales though.

Anyway, yeah, Floyd's win was more impressive over a more impressive fighter. So why the comparison? :huh

People are making TC Floyd comparisons. Just showing the difference between the two. The younger Floyd MADE A STATEMENT in his first big fight. TC coasted it and even admitted it. As long as TBE was fighting in his prime and his lower weights he was messing dudes up bad.

So what? Nobody is projecting Crawford to seriously be greater than Mayweather.

**** outta here with that strawman BS.

I'm not saying that either. Just saying that TC ****ed me off with his performance. If he wants to be a star then make a fn statement and get Postol ass out of there!

    1. I don't completely buy the weight drain argument to dismiss the Corrales performance. Chico was struggling to make the weight prior to fights with Manfredy and Gainer, and was still producing quality work. And he wound up fighting at 130lbs twice against Casamayor in subsequent fights (going 1-1 at the weight).

    2. Postol didn't want to open up after getting popped, and TC is the type to take what an opponent gives. Winning by 10-points against your top foe is enough of a statement.

Corrales had MAJOR legal issues, had been in and out of court leading up to the fights, had been found Guilty and was actually awaiting sentencing.

Not taking anything away from Floyd, he would have probably won anyway, but to say it was a 100% Diego Corrales is not truthful.

Nobody is making comparisons. Not Floyd fans or Bud fans. A few fan might, but they aren't valid. Most people particularly Postol fans are just mad that Bud didn't go for the ko. It'll all blow over lol. Once they hear that the ppv failed, the hypocrites will be out, and GG's ppv amount will probbably be jumped up to 300k. Lol

He turned in a first rate performance against Manfredy with the same issue lingering.

Agree there isn't s comparison to be made. Not with Donaire-Rigo either.

Maybe you could compare it to Urkal-Zoo.
