Floyd's win over Cotto just increased dramatically in quality

He gets credit for beating Cotto, it stops there. But Cotto gets credit for actually fighting and beating Martinez, not Mayweather. Mayweather fanboys should stop this credit grabbing..

I agree with you on this part and I give credit to Mayweather.

Where you are completely wrong is that this win is not better than Pac's. Not only my opinion or opinion's of this forum..... it's the opinion of experts and the general public.

 

How does Floyd's win over Cotto look better now when most contend that Cotto looks better now only AFTER he took on Freddie Roach as a trainer? Taken simply, then one can say that Pacquiao's win over Cotto looks even better than the rest of them. Or Trout's win looks better now, therefore Trout is elite? Why must EVERY SINGLE fight have something to do with Mayweather or Pacquiao? Getting out of hand with turning everything into a Mayweather or Pacquiao thread here, seriously.

Cotto lost to Trout immediately after Mayweather. He had three wins immediately after Pacquiao.

Cotto was probably in a better state for the Pacquiao fight.

No Floyd's win against Cotto is lessened by this Cotto win. It would have been a different story if Roach was coaching Cotto when he fought Floyd.

 

It don't work like that but it does bear witness to Mayweathers chin being top shelf and his power being underestimated.
