Every once in a while you see a result and believe if the same men fought nine more times the same result would not repeat ..

Two that stand out to me are Nunn KO One one Kalambay and Ingo KO One Eddie Machen ..

    any others ?

When Carlos Quintana, a huge underdog, beat Paul Williams and then Williams beat him in a round the rematch, the first fight was regarded as a fluke. However, I would argue, in light of Williams' repeated struggles against other movement-oriented southpaws indicates that Williams blowing through Quintana so fast was the actual fluke, especially given that it was really the only time Williams flashed serious power.

Moore-Benitez? Why? I just watched it and it was a demolition.

IIRC Benitez broke his ankle when he fell; otherwise I think it would have been a very different fight.

2 or 3 years earlier it would have surely been a different fight.

Seems to me that Carter had Griffith's number and would have done it again
Ali refused to go to a neutral corner and shouldn't have been allowed to get away with it. Oscar would have survived the round.
I was at the Quarry-Chuvalo fight. That was really senseless of Jerry to engage in a slugfest with George. When it's bombs away anything can happen.

Nunn caught Sumbu with the perfect punch. It's hardly a fluke.

Hi Red! Still looking for job to supplement retirement.
Jerry had Chuvalo (in Howard's words, a bloody pulpy mess).
Carter outweighed Griffith, not to mention 'calling him a f a g g o t at the weigh in thereby getting Emile ready to abandon his style and wade in early. So much for 'liberal' thinking that ignores trash talk and everyone seeing the movie as 'fact'. One of Rubin's best buds said, regrettably, that he knew he was guilty.
Two fine examples. Lastly, "Hurricane" showed Emile completely outclassed and in a puddle and showed Giardello completely getting the s h I t kicked out of him....Oh, Hollywood!!!

Eh...Moore could hit with speed and power; and Benitez was always vulnerable to getting caught and dropped. No guarantee that Benitez beats him for sure. Radar would have been the favorite, but Bronx Davey was pretty dangerous at his best.
