Dude I agree with that...but thts exactly wut Im sayin. If Floyd does his business over a few of the elite in the world today, he should be rated as good as sugar ray leonard. It's not his fault that Hearns, Duran, Leonard and Benitez aint around anymore! All you can do is beat the best in your time and for me he's done that. Only guys i think he needs to face is Mosely and Pacman. And lets be honest Mosely rejected the fight and the Pacman fight has only become realistic in the last 6-12 months so he's never really had the chance to prove his greatness, but I'm sure he will
Had Floyd faught "all" or even a fair share of the elite level guys who were definitely out there...there wouldn't be so many of these kinds of threads regarding Floyd. Right now floyd has really only ONE top or Elite level guys on his resume. DLH! He has some very good opposition like castillo, corales, Hatton ect...but flyd is a rare talent and proven elite in boxing on his talent and skills alone. He hasn't really proven greatness by what's on his resume. Just what he does in the ring. But where people begin to wonder about floyd is when they see other guys who do have a very solid resume with losses. Would floyd have a loss or two had he faught MORE elite level guys? No one knows but he can't be surprised to hear these kinds of comments given the fact that there has always been more challenges for Floyd that have some how slipped away.
Too many divisions today....people forget these fighters fought each other one because the weights grouped many together that today wouldnt be in the same weight calss....secondly NO ONE was dealing with the type of money the fighters today are dealing with...its more buisiness now. Todays fighters can almost never amount to what the past fighters are one because people hold onto the past too much and wont open their minds....too closed minded....secondly the sport is just too different today......and the main one is Time.....time always shows the big picture......when years go by people tend to judge with a clear mind instead of the cloudiness
