A lot of greats when they lose a fight for the first time go into a rapid downward spiral. Some come back better and stronger. What (if) FMJ were to lose that from his record? Come back better or never to be seen again (Naseem Hamed like)??????
Didn't he lose in the 1st Castillo fight but got a gift of a decision? He cameback fantastically, so I think we already have the answer.
At this point in his career? If he lost (which I can't really see him doing) he'll hang them up for good. If I'm honest though I think he may have hung them up for good already. For the purposes of giving an answer on Floyd's character though. Lets say he fought Tszyu at 140 and lost a competitive decision. I personally think he would have rematched him, if he won, another match, if he lost he probably would have moved onto 147 and taken on the fighters there. At the moment though he's too old and too disinterested in the sport to make an effective comeback in my opinion. Of course the entire Tzsyu thing is just the speculation of someone who has watched Floyd for many a year but speculation none the less.
He lost his heart to Pacquaio. There's no coming back from that, just awful cold screams in the middle of the night when he awakes in cold sweat.
fantastically? did you watch the fight? cause he only won by 2 points and was not exactly dominant at all. It was a close fight, and Castillo is no ATG

It was a close fight....it could have gone castillo's way and most thought it should have but Floyd proved he was the better fighter when he gave JLC an immediate rematch and completely dominated. I believe Floyd said he was injured going into that fight the first time, which could be an excuse....but I doubt it. That was one of Floyd best wins in my opinion. Both of them.
