Not too mention the highest landing percentage and holding his oppoents to the lowest landing percentage, 1 close fight in his whole career (JLC1) and you fools better not give me that BS about the ODLH fight being close .... Haters are scum! And for the record I dont think he is the best ever (I dont beleive there is anyone who is the GOAT) but if anybody has a right to say it, its him
Really 34 coming off an impressive KO of Mayorga a few months before at a weight he hadn't lost at in about 7 years (though the Sturm bout was close)
Max Kellerman, other boxing experts/analysts. Along with most people on different websites. The worst it could have been was 8-4. Take that to the bank sir.
Considering Goldy was retired a mere two years later, it's safe to say he was nearing his sell by date.
Yep thats what I had it. ODLH was not faded in that fight. He looked superbly strong and conditioned. Once Floyd adapted to the jab and end of rd rallys by Oscar it was all she wrote. And to think if they had fought with smaller gloves. ODLH knew what time it was
Yeah it was in the later part of his career but he by no means was faded. He didn't look bad that night, just fought a more skilled athlete/boxer in Floyd. Now when Pac fought him ....
