Mayweather was quiet as **** at the press conferences against Judah,Corrales as he would be againest Cotto or Paul Williams.

This has got to be one of the stupidest posts I have ever read. You say he's weak becasue he didn't talk trash to Judah or Corrales. All he did was go into the fight and beat the **** out of them.

Yeah Mayweather was real quiet and classy leading up to the Corrales fight.

"I'm going to beat Corrales on behalf of all battered women".

 

Another one exposed to not knowing jack**** about Mayweather.

Early in his career Mayweather was too quiet and his father did the trash talks for him, as he started to progress he started trash talking more, the Gatti fight(his first PPV) was a noticable beginning as it's obvious that's a very good way to sell fights.

He was asked why he hasn't talked trash about Marquez and he admitted that the break made him more patient/calm. Marquez is also a friend of Mayweather if you don't know already, this goes way back, both have a lot of respect for each other.

Ali trash talked, Robinson, Leonard, Tyson, Lewis, Holyfield, Bowe and many others, this isn't anything new and has been proven to be a very good way to sell fights.

The whole build-up leading to Mayweather-Corrales was filled with trash talk, bad blood, and how the rivalry had gotten personal.

 

At the first conference they did to announce the fight it seemed as if Floyd was up to his old antics. He would walk over to Marquez' chair and lean over him to intimidate. Then at that first face off Marquez was saying something to Floyd, and yes he can speak ok English, better than Pac at least. I wonder what he told floyd that chilled him out.

 

Pac will fight Mosely, Void refused to fight Pac, Mosely, Cotto, Margarito, you name it. Pac has balls the size of church bells, Void has none.
