    From Sky Sports

"The fight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao has sold out in less than a minute, with tickets immediately making their way onto resale sites."

"Only 1,000 tickets were made available to fans for the highly-anticipated clash at the MGM-Grand in Las Vegas on May 2."

"The remainder of the seats for the 16,500-capacity venue will be made available to the media, sponsors and promoters."

"An impasse between the promoters meant the contract between the two fighters was only signed on Wednesday, leading to the delay in issuing tickets.
But there was never any doubt the event, between two of the greatest fighters in boxing history, would prove immensely popular with the public.
It only remains to be seen just how much fight fans will be prepared to pay for a ticket on resale sites, with early indications showing they are being offered for around £47,000 each."

This night was always guna screw the real boxing fan. Only the rich can attend the fight and the poor will have to squeeze money out of their sweat glands to pay for PPV.

The ppl throwing the punches may care about their fans but the ppl who run their careers couldnt give a fukk about us.

Yet they lean on us mere mortals to prop up the lesser fights and keep the sport going.

I dont believe the 1000 tickets even made general sale to be honest.. straight to the touts.

yeah its true but theres always a way for payback.I would never pay that kind of money to attend a sporting event anyway unless it was my teams playing in the super bowl world series or the nba finals.

why wouldnt they have this at stadium?

it could easily sell out 100,000

yet they have it at a 16,500 arena???
