Ortiz hasn't won in over 2 years, and lost every round to Floyd before getting knocked out. Him against Floyd in May makes little sense.

 

Ortiz II will only ever make sense if Ortiz wins a title and/or enters the top 10 (147 or 154 since it seems that is where he wants to be).

Come off it. Ortiz admitted in a filmed interview after the fight that he cheated and deliberately tried to break Floyd's nose with a flagrant leaping headbutt. He deserved the nap time.

 

Ortiz has a better chance playing Jacoby Ellsbury in a made for TV movie about the Red Sox (anyone notice that they do in fact look alike?)

 

EXACTLY. Floyd never BEAT Ortiz. Ortiz was putting more pressure on Floyd than I've ever seen and never seen Floyd look so uncomfortable and give so many smug fake smiles. Ortiz was getting to floyd, don't mistake it. He landed some good shots before the headbutt.
Regardless, Floyd robbed all of the fans sucker punching his way to a win. Ortiz should get another shot!
Love how morons think Floyd robbing the fight was warranted over a headbutt that was never threatening anything. Ortiz received a point off so was already penalized anyway.
