Yeah I think Johnny Tapia is one of those guys who could make any profession seem enthralling. "A local fry cook at McDonalds was fired today after assaulting a costumer who complained that there was too much salt on the fries. The cook, now identified as local Albequerque resident Johnny Tapia, offered to replace the fries at the customers disapproval. Tapia packaged a new box of fries and then punched the costumer, now identified as Paulie Ayala, in the face. After beating on Mr. Ayala for several minutes, he proceeded to kidnap Ayala's wife and escape on foot, carrying the woman on his back. Cops eventually caught Mr. Tapia in an alley outside of a Price Choppers, trying to sell the woman for a new stereo system."
I guess all those rumors about pac putting porter on his ass multiple times during training was true.
Hate to pick on the kid cause he was in with an akward fighter, but I really didn't see anything special in Porter tonight.
I gave it a go, but was immediately stumped by the commentator saying that "the Denmark women have only one weakness, in that they make a lot of mistakes." Considering that the ladies on that team are all sisters, the topless rule could be interesting.
Porter reminds me of a Very inexperienced and slower poor mans Mosley. I was expecting a little more.
Exactly! He's just a poor man's version of Berto. Someone with lots of natural talent but when it comes down to it, not much boxing skills. Porter pretty much sucks.
I understand that he fought an awkward opponent but at times it seemed like he did not know what to do.
