Round 3 Porter throwing combinations to the body - not necessarily because that's his gameplan but because that's what's available to him at his eye level. Jordan has an odd loose guard, with his hands floating around (almost like a mixed martial artists' striking stance). It might be a problem if Porter's little stubs could physically poke through it. Shaq showing off some of his Shaq Fu moves. Round 4 Jordan coming out with some weak looking left straights. Porter is going backwaards when he should be going in. Jordan goes down on a slip. Jordan and Porter go at it in the pocket but it's a lot of winging and flailing. Porter gets his sports confused and tries to put Jordan in some kind of D'Arce choke. Porter staying in the pocket and going to the body. Jordan winging wild punches and is getting countered viciously. Porter moving well but goes back to leaping in with one punch. When he stays inside, he lands. When he leaps in and throws one punch, it does no good. Porter and Jordan are real close to headbutting each other. Porter gets caught with a right hook and smartly backs off. Porter moving well but gets caught on the ropes. Jordan is catching him occasionally with that right hook. Jordan tries an uppercut as the round ends but it's nothing doing. 10-9 Porter 40-36 Porter. Very bland performance so far but it may just be a styles thing.
Round 4 The body of Jordan looking a bit wrinkled by the accumulation, Porter may be close to folding him. Jordan is wincing and dropping his elbows with every connection. Porter leans on Jordan and bangs to the midsection, moving his head to avoid the long arms of Jordan, which are ineffective at short range. A single hook hits Porter's temple but without much leverage on it; he doesn't blink. Porter reverts to sticking and moving. He misses a lot but should still be at a much higher clip than Jordan. 39-37 Porter
