IB I'd believe that jab statistic, Rodriguez threw a huge amount of jabs(nearly 500) and the vast majority of those landed on Theophane's forearms, enough to have me believe those statistics are correct.
Now very few of his jabs didn't hit anything, but he just kept hitting arms time and time again, that's probably the reason he was so fatigued at the end.

Ya I'm annoyed myself. Not too frustrated from having stayed up though, I'm just back from California so being up at this time seems pretty normal to me right now.

Anyway hopefully Lee can get out again soon and get some proper exposure on American tv next time.

You could make a case for Rodriguez being 6-0 in his last 6, but his record reflects 2-3-1. :!:

I guess it really is always up for grabs in boxing when it isn't taken out of the judges' hands. :yep

Theophane's awkwardness works for him at times, but a bigger puncher would really punish him with some of the shots he took. He's just too easy to counter and doesn't have massive pop himself.

As for Don George, yeah - this was a total gut-check. If he wants to remain active in this sport against anyone with a pulse he HAS to concentrate on defense.

Sierra is building up a nice comeback run, but will probably never be a serious contender with two losses to Saul Alvarez's inferior brother and getting bombed out in two minutes by Miranda. He could keep himself at ESPN2 level by taking on guys in his own class (C to B level talents).

Andy Lee should really be televised from now on.

First fight was much better than the second.

What did you guys think about the 2 points vs. the DQ?

I'm not sure what his intentions were, but he melted dude! whew!

Definitely the worst beating of the year so far. I was cringing at times and wanted that fight stopped. I can't believe his corner didnt stop it. No way I would let my boxer go and and get beaten up like that.

Rag doll at the end, completely out.

    Horrible night of boxing.

1st fight the winenr cheats by coming in overweight and Delvin gets robbed again.

Boy George really got worked over by Sierra. The kid has no laterral head movement, he just keeps his melon in one spot. He moves his shoulders but zero head movement. It was so easy for Sierra to find him. No ducking or feints, just stood there. Showed some heart (stupidity) but man that kid needs to learn to slip a punch if he wants to keep fighting on.
Only caught the first 2 rounds of Delvins fight, heard he got robbed.

I agree Delvin was absolutely and completely robbed...again....but he was looking bad in those last few rounds.

The first fight should have been stopped earlier IMO as well. Dude was bleeding all over, barely able to stay on his feet, the only thing that kept him from falling down several times was grabbing on to something or someone...at the end he tried to grab on to the ref! He was throwing some shots, I don't know if it would be considered "fighting back". It was more like "flailing hopelessly".

His dad is his trainer. I heard that in some places they don't allow father/son teams because they are more likely to let the fighter take unnecessary punishment. Anyone else heard that? Not sure where that was...Olympics maybe? I don't remember where.

That right hand at the end was after the bell, but damn...it was a perfect shot. DING!!
