Yes teddy. Cuello has **** lateral movement. You've made that quite clear. Prescott should honestly start loading up on this guy more btw, what's the use of having a punch if you're not throwing it enough?
I don't know how committed Prescott is to truely getting better, but he has some tools that could make him a solid contender. As I type this Cuello is looking better here in the second, but I like Prescott's hand speed and pop, always have.
Round 2 Cuello starts off backpedaling. Prescott easily hangs back while Cuello loads up on reaching hooks and left hands. Prescott mostly jabbing. Surprisingly decent defense by Prescott. Cuello throws a 1-2 and is countered with a right to the chin.
Nah, he's more like shampoo...and Cuello is like a scalp with dandruff. But the shampoo isn't the anti-dandruff kind like a pert. It's more of an apple scented but cheap dollar store type of shampoo. It's like when Tyson fought Holyfield...
Round 3 Hard hooks and uppercuts from Prescott. Cuello throws a wild haymaker with the left that Prescott dodges with ease. Cuello triples jabs but gets worked to the body by the more agile Prescott. Cuello takes a jab and then a hook off the jab. Prescott throws a double hook to the body to drop Cuello's arms and then zips in with the uppercut high. Cuello jabs in and takes a lead right counter in the face. Prescott ducks a three punch combination. Cuello begins to leap in with jabs, trying to get on Prescott's left side and flurry on him. A lot of feinting and sizing up in the last minute.
Round 4 Cuello finds a little success with the southpaw 1-2. Prescott eats a couple and bounces off the ropes. Prescott comes back with some body punching. Cuello hangs his lead arm low to invite Prescott in and bangs him with a lead left, staggering Prescott. Cuello continues to bring the left looping around from his rear hip. Prescott jabs but Cuello times the jab and rushes in to clinch him up and wrestle him a bit. Prescott gave that round away.
Round 5 Cuello walks around Prescott cautiously, getting hit with quick body shots whenever he comes in, but immediately pulling out and looking to roll with his right shoulder. Prescott is not pressing the action, and suffers a few clean shots from Cuello as the pace is dictated by the smaller journeyman.
Round 6 My chocolate bar and my beer just combined to produce a flavor very reminiscent of canned peas. :blood In fact, you'd swear it was canned peas. If you drank my saliva right now you'd think it was pea can water. Prescott is for whatever reason unwilling to force his will on Cuello. The Colombian throws two punches at the most while jumping at his own shadow and reacting to the weak right jab of Cuello. Prescott waits until Cuello is on the way in to load up his right hand and smothers himself, leading to awkward and dangerous clinches that could result in their skulls smacking together if it keeps up.
I'm not even watching this fight, just scratching my balls and wondering how this has lasted 7 rounds.
Seriously, can we just have Fiore and Avila have their immediate rematch right now? Just climb back through the ropes and say something like "Excuse us, guys, you're stinking up the joint, hit the showers - we'll call it a NC."
Even Teddy who's usually a game dude is shitting on this stinker. I fully expected Prescott to obliterate this guy and he can't even get his KO nut off. I wish the opening bout had been an 8 rounder as well, because this is dookie. Pure, unadulterated #2. Imperial, colonizing *******s. That's how.
Round 7 More tentative boxing from both. Cuello taunting with his lead right arm hanging like a willow tree. Prescott with a lot of in-place hand movement, feinting more than punching, and throwing his right hand only half-heartedly and from too far out. Cuello is showboating but not really punching much himself. A couple of hard clinches as they bang together awkwardly.
