Brewer is leaning back and winding up to slap down at Martinez with his right hand or throw his own uppercuts from several inches out behind his back, but is too close, smothered. Martinez rocks him with a looping right and a left hook as Brewer slaps back at him.

    I would hope so. There are opinions, and then there are just flat out wrong opinions. It's too bad Joe didn't at least say anything. Like, hey Teddy, you know, he was involved in a controversial fight....just throwing it out there.

    Martinez is digging away to the body as Brewer slaps up top, mirroring each other with the wideness of their hooks but Martinez placing his a bit more squarely and with more power. Hooks to the nose by Martinez aren't bothering Brewer but are scoring. Brewer slaps his way into a clinch. Mora circles, watching closely but not calling breaks, letting them work out of it. Series of unanswered slaps by Brewer, momentarily forcing Martinez back until a right uppercut sends him into retreat again. Right hand by Martinez as Brewer leans back, then a pair of counter slaps from Brewer before backing up. Martinez keeps touching him with the uppercut inside, slowing down but still in control. Brewer falls in and throws some sloppy shots, and they exchange until the bell.
