FNF: Lee Haskins vs Don Boradhurst thread

I always root for him when hes on i dnt know y i was buzzin when he got that win.
was it just me or did he sound a little punch drunk

 

Anyone know how karl place went on

 

His accent is weird.

Good lad, what was the performance aside from the stoppage like? I think that this kid can go places (excuse the pun)

 

Is anyone else pissed off with trainers and promoters over selling fighters. I remember Richie Woodhall saying Don was a certain future world champ and to be honest there was nothing in there or from his fighters that makes him look remotely world class. I can see why Frank put him up for this fight though because he is low gain fighter for Frank so he might as well push him and see if you can go beyond because he is no use to a promoter like Frank Warren at domestic level. if won tonight he would need to bring in decent opponents from Latin America, Far East and South Africa and they are expensive and very low gain. Overall very pissed off I need to stop falling for this bs hype over nothing.

 

He is..sadly at such a young age as well. He's family are Irish and he's brought up round the corner from the St Pancras Kronk. Irish Traveling Family. So that's why the accent is strange.

Only see about 2 seconds of the programme last night, the Price "fight", the poor guy looked genuinely embarassed by that. It was just ridiculous, Maloney's defence of it was laughable aswell.

 

that was a pathetic sham last night. all three live fight were why boxing is in decline

 

I always Sky+ FFN, burn it to DVD and give it to my mate....last nights was the first I have not bothered with, absolutely appalling

 

The whole card was dreadful, David Price looked quite embarrassed after his win.:dead

 

This was a rubbish spectacle. First time I have actually not really paid any attention to the fights because they were dull and total mismatchs again. I think SKY + shafting me with a technical fault halfway through the Haskins vs Broadhurst fight may have been a god send.....

 

Yup, I was only half watching in the end.
