    Round 7

Some frenzied trading from both, mostly slaps. Both might be getting tired. Clinch. Rodriguez has his gloves re-taped. They resume with Pryor digging a hard right hand downward to the body. Rodriguez misses a 1-2 down low and backs out, barely avoiding a counter right from Pryor. They drift together to the ropes with Pryor pushing Rodriguez and slapping him with a free hand while Rodriguez pins his other one. They clinch again as Rodriguez is more insistently coming forward now. Pryor threatens with the jab and Rodriguez just stares him down and then comes forward. Rodriguez ducks down under a Pryor right and exposes the back of his head and gets slapped up as Pryor reaches down at him with both fists. Rodriguez lands a nice 1-2 finally but has his head snapped back HARD by a Pryor counter right. ANOTHER pair of hard rights by Pryor.

    69-64 Pryor

Rodriguez is really showing his lack of ability to make good adjustments against Pryor. More of the same this round, Rod throwing a few looping shots landing very few, while eating right hands, sine if which snap his head back pretty hard.

    69-64 Pryor.

Pryor should be winning...but we've seen cack decisions on FNF regularly. Expect a 96-94 win for La Bomba...

    Round 8

Pryor chops with a right hand. Rodriguez is pushed back as Pryor misses another right and lurches into him. They are both missing quite a lot this round, and clinching very frequently. Really no clean punches landing, a lot of forearm clubbing inside and little else. A lot of wrestling. Pryor lands a quick jab that snaps Rodriguez's head. Another clinch. Rodriguez lands a long 1-1-2 before the next clinch. The ref takes a point from Pryor for elbows.

    10-8 Rodriguez

    77-74 Pryor

Man, if Pryor planted his feet better he could have very well scored a kd by now. If Rod lands flush with one of his hail marry punches it could completely change this fight, but that is yet to happen. neither fighter really did anything too special this round. Oh boy, 1 point deduction from Pryor, apparently an elbow.

10-8 round for Rod in my book.

    77-74 Pryor

Wow. Bull**** deduction. Rodriguez was behind Pryor, who was drifting backward to the ropes with his arms sticking out, and his elbow happened to glide into Rodriguez's face because Rodriguez didn't get out of his way.

    Round 9

They trade jabs almost exclusively over the first minute, each landing theirs fairly well. Pryor is hanging on the outside and double-jabbing, and tries a right hand but sends it whistling just by Rodriguez's left ear. 1-2 by Pryor as Rodriguez reaches up and slaps with an overhand right. They clinch and both seem weary. Rodriguez ducks down and Pryor has a right hand land dully over the top of his back as Rodriguez grips him about the waist. Pryor sticks his jab out and Rodriguez flings his 1-2 out despite being held out of reach.

    87-83 Pryor

Rod actually landing a few jabs here in the 9th, but not throwing them consistently. Rodriguez' head movement a little better this round. Tough round to score. I figure the judges will be looking for a round to give Rodriguez

    86-84 Pryor
