He did look good...strong, aggressive, and just disciplined enough to finish well. It's odd that he's only got a 50% KO ratio; he must have been matched with some rugged types on the way up.

Gotta give it to Jerson, after his *****-move quitting against David Lopez I give the dude credit to keep getting in the ring.

The only chance against USS is to KO him and his shaky chin.. and BJ ain't a puncher.

Jonte Willis vs. Leo Bercier, HW

    An in-shape American????? :scaredas:

    Round 1

Willis doubles the jab. Bercier blocks, and tries a slow body hook. Willis keeps jabbing forth. Bercier tries a looping side-winder right hand that Willis easily slips with a **** of his head. Bercier is painfully slow. Willis starts ducking him a little more showily. Bercier eating jabs. Willis steps inside Bercier's wide stance and digs a hook to his belly, then brings the jab up to his face. Bercier keeps trying to hook the body or land a big overhand right upstairs. Only the body hooks get through, and they are mostly caught on the elbow of Willis. Willis begins to mix lead rights to the soft underbelly of Bercier in with his multiple jabs to the kisser. Willis flurries on Bercier and then steps out of the way of some slow counters.

    Willis 10-9

Yeah. He's right to consider Steve a heavy favorite in any sort of CW tournament that could be made.

Indeed , it's surprising considering how aggressive he fights plus he has decent power , KO ratio looks misleading . Usually it's the over way , you see a guy with 80 % KO ratio on Friday Night Fights and he goes to decision with someone who has been knocked out several times before .

    Round 2

Bercier is surprisingly aggressive, still being slipped easily but putting right hands together in succession. Willis steps around the attacks with upper body leaned back and planting hooks and jabs. The right hand lead to the breadbasket lands especially well but he's mostly headhunting as Bercier's guard is off-duty during his slow combinations. HARD right hand catches Bercier off-balance and lifts him off his feet - literally! Bercier comes right back unphased throwing looping shots at the head of Willis. Bercier eats a hard right hand to the ribs as he throws, and Willis' head movement is enough to not pay for it. Willis bloodying the nose of Bercier with the jab. Bercier eats yet another right hand to the bridge of the nose that snaps his head and upper body back like a slingshot.

    20-18 Willis

Willis' right to the body followed by the left hook has been habitual and accurate. Nice combination.

Yeah, Teddy complains too much. Willis is owning this dude just as he ought to.

Of course, it's hard to blame him for being cranky - there are way too many mismatches on FNF.

    Round 3

Willis standing in front of Bercier a bit more, but only eating the chopping jab. Willis' own jab continues to slice up the face of Bercier. A hard right hand momentarily phases Bercier, as does a textbook hook the jaw a moment later. Willis keeps pouring on the power punches, and shows a nice short uppercut landing just under the jut of the chin of Bercier. Bercier has only been stopped 3 times in 21 fights, and it's obvious he can take a shot. He now takes a knee after Willis continues to capitalize on his success with the uppercut - one lands especially hard, and as Bercier goes down Willis jumps into a southpaw stance out of convenience and turns a quick right hook into Bercier's temple as he falls. Bercier gets up at nine and Willis jumps on him. Bercier shells up and Willis bangs the body but doesn't have time for the finish before the bell.

    30-26 Willis
