    Round 5

Berrio throws a lazy jab and Husanov steps around it and lands a right hand, but it bounces off the side of Berrio's head at a sloppy angle. Berrio nails Husanov pulling straight out from in front of him with a right hand. They begin loading up on power punches in the pocket, and Husanov's hooks land a little louder but Berrio still touching him with the right hand. Berrio falls an inch short with a huge off-balance right hand and Husanov lobs a jab in his face as he steps away from it. Now Berrio presses Husanov against the ropes but Husanov shoeshines his way off. Berrio walks into a straight right lead. They lean against each other and refrain from clinching, Berrio pushes off and fires a 1-2. Husanov doesn't give ground, and they punch to the bell.

    Husanov 49-46

Husanov is making this fight too hard. Just step back and counter with the right, and throw that nice jab more.

    Round 6

Husanov lining Berrio up for hard right hands, and following them with hooks as Berrio blinks from the impact. Berrio still fighting back, punching and grabbing as Husanov advances with his shoulders rounded and head down in charging pose. Berrio throws a massive wide hook that Husanov ducks and whoops him on the body. Berrio is now encouraging the inside exchanges, leaning on him and pushing. Berrio shortening up his inside punches, and Husanov turns his back momentarily, retreating to the ropes. Berrio comes at him and lands a right hand but eats an uppercut. They throw power punches, again, to the bell, and both land.

Wow...very close round. Husanov early and Berrio late, in almost equal measure. I'm having a hard time scoring it.

    Round 7

Berrio now pressing a tired but unrelenting Husanov. Berrio lands a 1-2 that knocks Husanov back into a corner. Husanov comes out with a roaring combination that drives Berrio back. Husanov dons the earmuffs and leans forward; Berrio doing all the punching now. Sloppy but busy. Husanov just absorbs it. Husanov comes out of his peekaboo to land a crisp hook, then jumps back behind it. Berrio now the aggressor, following Husanov with a lazy jab, and Husanov picking his spot for power punches as he moves back. Berrio eats a monster right hand/hook combo but keeps coming.

Berrio's actually bringing the fight despite being far less accurate; he may have just won two in a row.

Husanov is better than this but that being his US debut and all the travelling issues trouble him here .

    Round 8

Husanov jabs, eats a right on the way in but lands one as he does. Husanov now unafraid to take one to give one, but his energy is still a bit down as he seems to be looking for a second wind. Berrio keeps wailing at him with ugly but steady punches. Husanov lands a few nice power counters off the backfoot that stun Berrio. Berrio drops whichever hand he's not throwing with and doesn't move his head, leaving himself wide open to punches from almost every angle. Husanov circles and takes his measure. Husanov leaps into a jab trying to land his own. Husanov nails him with a right hand as a jab is retracted. Then another - and Berrio stumbles! Almost down! They fall into a clinch and the bell to the rescue...

    77-75 Husanov

    Round 9

Berrio comes out assertive, jab-jab-cross. He stays willingly in front of Husanov, punching in spurts. Husanov momentarily drops his hands at a bad moment and eats a hook that rocks his footing a bit. Husanov shells back up and Berrio pushes him into the ropes and begins wailing on him. Husanov absorbs for a few moments, catching his breath, and then starts returning fire, switching positions and punching Berrio into the ropes. Berrio has a 1-2 blocked, then a hook. They wrestle until told to break it up. Almost every punch sequence results in a clinch now. Husanov trying to land an overhand right, and Berrio just throwing wide from whatever angle is open to him with either hand. Husanov tightens up a bit and starts to get some distance, and locates Berrio's chin with the jab. Berrio has a slow 1-2 countered with a very hard right to the jaw, and Husanov follows it up a moment later with another bomb right at the bell, simultaneously "pulling the chair out" from under Berrio as Berrio had been leaning on him...Berrio's eyes close and he staggers, but it could be from balance.

    87-84 Husanov

    Round 10

It's still ugly in there. Berrio pushes Husanov into a corner and throws from the top down. Husanov, in contrast, is throwing upwards on the inside. Berrio with a sloppy 1-2, all over the place, the jab blocked at about chest-level and the right hand drifting toward Husanov's hip. Husanov starts loading up with power, but still visibly tired. Berrio not getting hit completely flush with anything but being battered by the sheer strength of Husanov's punches. Husanov stuffs a jab in his face and has his right arm grabbed as he tries to bring it over for the cross. The clinch is broken and the bell rings.
