Stevenson is a late starter, but he's got huge power and is trained and managed by Manny Steward. Noe Gonzalez looks like a hitter too but he seems flat footed and he doesn't throw a lot of straight punches. This should be a shoot-out! My prediction is Stevenson by KO. Who you got?
Just watched a buncha Stevenson fights..... on FIGHT network in Canada they showed his first 10 fights which they do often with gym fighters like Lemieux and Pascal. Gotta say in his first ten he looked like a poor mans Pascal, exciting with big power but very flawed defensively and technically and in Pascals first 10 fights he looked like much more of a beast so I'm not even sure Adonis is all that powerful even...it might be his competitiont hat's making him look like a beast. Steward seems to be singing his praises but he did the same thing Andy Lee and lets not forget he called Linares the best fighter he's ever seen just a few minutes before Demarco started turning the tides and beating his ass, then he loses to a journeyman in his next fight.... So yeah manny's not exactly the dude you should trust when gauging a prospect/contender.
Noe Gonzalez by early ko, or 9,10 round tko noe is a very good defensive boxer, and he has good power. this is going to be the most dificult fight of stevensons career. Noe can punch, can counter really good.he has technic and good stamina
I'm pretty sure the most difficult night of Stevenson's career came two years ago :yep, and while Alcoba is better than Boone this is a much improved Stevenson. Alcoba has also never faced a high-level southpaw if he's ever faced a southpaw at all as a professional...and while he has pop it's nowhere near Stevenson's...and he's giving up lots of speed... Does Alcoba still have Pablo "Corey Hart' Sarmiento in his corner?
I´m pretty sure I watched Gonzalez before.......but I can´t remember very well  Even so I think is safe to say Adonis is my pick for tomorrow.....
All of his televised bouts (besides the failed challenge of Sturm on German TV) have been on TyC Sports. There isn't really a Uruguayan boxing scene, so he's had to base himself out of Argentina.
Yeah, like you, I also watch quite a bit the Argentinian boxing...certainly I´ll root to Noe.....so unsual to see a Uruguayan fighter ! Seems like another South American puncher too 20 knockouts:yep
