Wlad ain't no Golota. He's improved and changed his style since the Sanders/Brewster days. That was evident as far back as the Peter fight, where the Who Necks pressured , landed some big shots, and Wlad not only survived he won a clear UD
Wlad is a bum, he is lucky Haye was injured or he wouldn't of lasted 3 rounds. Atlas is right, any C- fighter can shatter ukranian glass inside 4 rounds.
They were, Hayes ran and Wlad could not catch him. Hayes stopped running and Wlad still could not catch him.
When a fighter is in that defensive mode, there's only so much that can be done. And Haye is extremely fast. Even though he lost, I'd still rank him as Top 3-4 in the division.
Brewster and Puritty proved that point by getting completely beaten up and outclassed until Wladimir wore himself out punching them? A hell of a way to test the pressure theory.
Correct, that would be the outcome with 2 working legs, Wlad basically jabbed a cripple and squeeked out a decision.
He's right only to an extent. Most of the fighters don't have the tools, abilities, and mentally to fight the way they need to against Wlad. They just haven't been taught. Haye's gameplan didn't change in Round 1 to Round 12. And it was the wrong gameplan from the gecko. Had he took chances, been aggressive he would have had a chance to win. At least a greater chance. Always a greater chance of getting knocked out. But he could have won. But Haye's is an inclined counter-puncher. You overrate Wlad. But he's your employer, so I don't blame you.
dude... we know your a hater... but now you are just talking out of your ass seriously....."C Fighter"? ...what does that make your beloved Haye then?:hey
You are a: :nut If you want to keep believing the toe was an issue, if that makes you sleep better at night, or whatever...go ahead. The toe was a NON ISSUE. Booth, even Haye have said so in recent interviews. In fact, Booth went as far as to say that if Haye had been more aggressive, he would have probably been "blasted out very quickly". There was nothing more they could have done, and this is coming from Haye's camp.
