Corley what when he was wbc champ well you are wrong there because he was harris mandotary but he fought the most dangerous champ in Koysta. Judah got beat of baldimour and hatton at 140 is an animal.
1. He had the fight offered to him numerous times before he fought Tyszu 2. Because Hatton had never fought anyone in the top10 at the time and Corley was top6 back then 3. I don't have that big a problem with people having it 7-5 to Hatton (had it that way myself first time) but I think it was 7-5 Collazo personally on re-watching it. I didn't score the last round as a 10-8 but it was a bigger round than Hatton's first. 4 Well I thought Collazo landed the cleaner more meaningful punches for the most part.
1. Learn your Hatton history if your going to post on him so much Hatton was WBO mandatory for Corley for 2 years After that he was WBA mandatory for Harris and dropped out of the fight way before the Tyszu fight was signed 2. Hatton didnt lose to Mayweather or Collazo because he was smaller he lost to both (imo with Collazo) because he wasnt skilled enough. FFS he weighed more then Mayweather on fight night so don't come back with the too small excuse. Mayweather was also willing to make the Hatton at 140 but it was the Hattons that wanted it at 147 so they wouldnt lose their 140lb status
He got schooled of floyd i aint denying that but the collazo fight he took seven of the twelve rounds. Now it ancient history yes it was close but it was not a screw job like Paulie over the herman.
Hatton's style is all trouble for Zab. Judah's a fantastic boxer but Ricky's bull style can make the speed advantage disappear and as Zab's chin is an issue, I see this fight as a late stoppage win for Hatton in a very hard and very exciting fight. Hatton NEVER lets you rest, punching, grabbing, pushing all the time, very hard to avoid his body punches and doesn't stop punching at all. I know some people will laugh at this but the first part of the Mayweather-Ricky fight is the key here. Until Floyd really sorted out Ricky's style he had big troubles. He had to use his forearm, grabbing etc. to keep Ricky away from him. The other good indication here is the Cotto-Zab fight. Now Cotto is a slow starter so he got nailed but as soon the the pressure started to work it was all Cotto. Hatton is a better pressure type fighter (I don't say he's better on P4P or anything) and Judah hates that. Would Judah defeat more/better names in an equal opposition? I think yes. Is Judah faster and more skilled than Hatton? Of course. But the fight BETWEEN the two would be a hard-fought Hatton win.
That said ricky has enough pop to do what kt did just because floyd school him that does not mean every boxer with speed especially at 140 can do him.
We can at least agree Herman got screwed against ***arelli :good Got to feel bad for Herman I thought he should have got the decision against Castillo to. I had it 7-5 Hatton first time, 7-5 Collazo second time of watching. Hatton apparently weighed 160 on fight night so talk of him being the smaller man is a off. My point was Hatton has a problem with that style
Well - Hatton admitted to being at 160 when he got into the ring, which is quite ridiculous. He fights best at around 150 (ring weight) so imagine putting ten tins of beans in a bag and carrying it - thats the excess which Ricky was carrying! Unprofessional - he tried to make the excuse that he was trying to be the same size as Collazo, but in reality just fancied a full English in the morning! Apparently, he got down to 140 and had to bulk up to 147 - so basically he was 140lb of decent body mass, and 20lb of fat by the time he got into the ring! I still had Ricky winning though.
Zab explodes on Hatton and ends that fight within 4. Hatton cant handle speed. Let alone speed and power. Judah would finish him.
I think a focused Zab, may even be able to beat PBF. He would definately be his biggest test, yet. And he would definately have beanten Cotto, if he had been a little more focused.
