of these match-ups: Paul McCloskey v Amir Khan Sam Sexton v Audley Harrison Give us your picks. Hmmmmmmm?:think:yep
Audley over Sam based on styles. Audley only loses to guys that outheart him, muscle him about and give him hell. Sexton is a boxer, he boxes off the jab and counterpunches. The size/reach and southpaw stance and the schooling of Harrison would render him ineffective IMO. Not sure about McCloskey/Khan, it would be an interesting fight. Unlike Salita/Kotelnik McCloskey does have the handspeed to actually land against the fleetfooted Khan. His power isn't huge though, maybe enough to hurt Khan, depends how effective he can be because obviously Khan's movement is superior. I'd lean towards Khan on points.
I reckon Audrey would do Sexton, not sure about Mcloskey and Khan I can't remember the last time I saw Paul fight but seen all of Khans fights. Going off tonights he'd give Khan fits though..
McCloskey just seems lazy to me. Whether he was fighting to the level of the opponent tonight I'm not sure....... but he should have had him out much earlier. I'm calling Sexton vs Harrison a no-contest. It's against my constitution to pick Harrison against anybody - would rather stick pins in my eyes.
Sam saxton vs tyson fury amir khan will be taken out early by McCloskey khans never faced a southpaw and will get raped
I would go for Khan McCloskey relies to much on refexes for defence whatever flaws Khan has lack of speed is not one of them.
You've been coaxed over to the dark side, persuaded by a half decent performance against a sub-standard opponent:hi:
And all those other performance.:hey A sharp hitting counter-puncher doesn't sound the best style for Khan?
