Once again, the benefits of having a consituency reared it's head...fighters from africa basically have no fan base. they're not gonna win fights like this against a popular european on his home turf. that said, ngumbu constantly beat fonfara to the punch, shook and staggered him a couple of times and deserved the win. i called it 6-4 ngumbu...afterward, fonfara made an excuse about hurting his hand...in reality it was those overhand rights bouncing off his head and the left hooks shaking him to his toes that made him gunshy.... one thing i noticed that i'm starting to notice about eastern european fighters is how much bigger they seem than other guys in their weight class...beterbiev seemed like a heavyweight against cloud...loma looked about 10 lbs bigger than gary russell jr. fornfara looked a weight class or two bigger than ngumbu. even kovalev generally seems quite a bit bigger than the other guys at LH...anybody else notice this?
