    Im actually surprised Jr's people let this fight happen.
    Fonfara is a top 5 175lb guy who has good pop at the
    weight, and has Jr at the very least matched in
    boxing skills. Do you think Jr's bitten off more than he
    can chew in his comeback fight? I do, and pick the pole
    by late TKO or UD.

    Fonfara can beat Chavez Jr. if he shows up like he did against Vera I. Actually, maybe Chavez Jr. bit off more than he can chew. :think

    I think Chavez is garbage but Fonfara is made for Chavez

    I am a bit surprised as well. Fonfara would be devastating to lose to for Jr...

    Fonfara really isn't that big of a draw either. I think the fight might not make that much sense for chavez. Too much risk, too low reward.

    I however am not Chavez's finance manager. I think it is a decent matchup and am glad the fight was made!

    I like Fonfara but he's being overrated because he survived against Adonis I think Chavez has the perfect style to beat him, Fonfara's neck is too long Chavez will knocking his head back and forth like a rock em sock em robot, also Fonfara's body is weak if Julio digs enough shots to the body which he most likely will, Chavez will break him down and stop him just like Lee.

    No size advantage. Cant bully the bigger opponent. Chavez is overated.
    chavez doesnt have anywhere near the power of stevenson.

    I think you're underrating Julio, when motivated and he will be for this fight, he can be incredibly dominant, look what he did to Lee, or the second Vera match. I think Fonfara is tailor made for him, look how easy it was for a Middleweight in Findley to bully him and KO him, Chavez' chin will hold up and he'll walk him down. Fonfara was able to take Adonis' straight lefts barely Chavez will be dropping left and right hooks on him all night, I think Fonfara and his flimsy neck will give way sooner or later.

    Never was all that high on Fonfara, he beat the guys he has supposed to and got crushed vs a guy he wasnt

    had moment vs Stevenson

    Chavez is no ATG but he isnt a bum either, I figure he wins by stoppage

    chavez could have had $7mil if he had agreed to fight golovkin plus another $5mil on his fight after that should he lose, $10mil if he wins.

    instead he went and join haymon's protective service.
