God I hope its La Bomba, but they'll punk out and go with dull ass Eleider.

    Sounds about right :-(
Wonder who Beterbiev will face, I think he's slated to be on Jack-Bute undercard.

Hopefully Chilemba or someone durable like that.

Sidenote on La Bomba, as far as Rodriguez having a glass jaw, that's not necessarily applicable here, Seals is an orthodox fighter and the clean counters he caught Edwin with, literally almost tore his head off his shoulders, spun his head around 180, Edwin's style is far more effective on southpaw's with an aversion to massive overhand rights.:hey

I actually like Edwin, cool guy. Have you read his story on sparring with one of the Boston Marathon bombers?

I know Fonfara dropped him but wasn't it a pretty clear win?

    Didn't think there's a demand for it

I like Fonfara and he beat JCC Jr. ass proper for that Interim title and he deserves his shot again unless someone beats him for the chance.

There is no reason for Stevenson to fight Fonfara again. He beat him decisively in the 1st fight and the only reason Fonfara scored the knock down in the late rounds was because Stevenson was beating him so easy he got lax. But the flash knock down gave Fonfara a false hope that he might be able to win in a 2nd match. He wouldn't. Stevenson would just beat him again.

I thought Fonfara's people were trying to make a fight with Kovalev, what happened with that?

There really shouldn't have been a Kovalev-Pascal rematch, but...
The 1st fight was thrown in doubt when the ref was a little to quick to stop the fight.
Then Pascal made a lot of noise. Much more than Fonfara has and as they say, The squeaky wheel gets the grease.

How do you "duck" someone who's ass you kicked?

 Fonfara hasn't improved enough to beat Stevenson.
Unless Fonfara works his way back in a mandatory position, A rematch is a waste of time.

It's not when Fonfara is the one who fought better level of opposition since their first fight.
