Every once in a while I will extract something from my book that I decide is not needed or I cannot find a place for..some of it is just fun stuff, etc... I will drop some in here for you guys.... #1: DAVE REID DESERVES RESPECT. Tito Trinidad is one of the most bone breaking, sharpest, accurate punchers of all-time and Dave Reid fought him when he was still basically a novice pro and for the last six rounds of their twelve round fight he took some wicked punishment as a result. After getting outboxed and dropped over the first half of the fight, Tito came back to drop Dave hard several times and weakened him with brutal shots to both the head and the body. It is often overlooked and forgotten but I myself know and realize that the heart and will Dave showed in even lasting for the entire twelve against Tito on that night made him a warrior on par with Gatti, Holyfield and any other guy who people say had "heart."
