Its saturday and yesterday I drained a foot blister 2 x .5 inches yummy. it probably started with my new shoes and a 4 mile jog. i had to use a guitar string, that i boiled and soaked in peroxide to puncture the thing, cause i couldnt find a needle. i bandaged it up overnight with some cotton in between to drain it, and it looks pretty good doesn't feel infected or anything. the skin is flat and doesn't look loose.
my question is should i start jogging again on monday? thats 2 day sat and sunday to heal.

also another question, what should i use to **** up my feet before running? personal recommendations?
i heard vaseline, or stuff called body glide is good.

Have you invested in a pair of decent bi layer running socks. I wear them and and I haven't had a blister in ages.

:goodi used to wear those.at the time they were fairly expensive but as you say, no blisters.
i think the ones i used were called twin-skins.

i'd say put some zinc oxide tape over it before you run then take it off after (under cold water) and let your foot breathe for the rest of the day i.e wear sandals or bare feet when in the house etc also make sure you dry (even talc) your feet properly after you've showered

I think I'm gonna go running tomorrow, since the skin looks pretty good. I bought some baby powder for my ass, gross smell. the blister just looks like slightly darker skin.
