Foot work in Boxing - Best examples of foot work in a fight

    The problem, as with many other things, is that the people with the best footwork often can only pull off their footwork because they are so quick and talented. Overall, when I think of great footwork, I think of Finito Lopez, but I'm not sure how well that can translate to someone who isn't that quick.

    For a stalker type of fighter, Margarito actually had very good footwork. The point of his footwork wasn't for defense or to put him in position for unusual angles like a lot of other fighters, but to cut off the ring and be able to take big shots without getting off balance, and there hasn't been anyone better at that in the past 15 or so years that I can think of. The other guy who has had great footwork of this style is Glen Johnson.
