Great clip. These guys were in shape. I wish boxing would go back to the size gloves used back then instead of the pillows that come almost down to the elbow used today. Less "tag your it" fights.

 

He rocked Ali a couple of times in I think the second round. I believe Ali later admited he lost his legs from those punches, and it was the hardest he had been hit up to that point.

Yes, from what we can see here, it certainly appears clear that Moore hadn't polished his style and perfected his defense, something that came with years of experience.

He looked to be using the "head-as-third-glove" method quite blatantly too.
