stevexx28, I don't know what you would consider old timers, but there are some sick fights that you probably haven't seen yet and desperately need to see. I usually just float around youtube and search my favorite fighters, their fights and I just playlist as many of them as I can. My youtube account is chriskim47 but i dont think you can see my playlists... :( Anyway some sick fights you need to watch.

Roberto Duran v Esteban De Jesus 1 and 2
Duran v Sugar Ray Leonard 1
Sugar Ray Leonard v Tommy Hearns 1
Sugar Ray Leonard v Wilfred Benitez
    Alexis Arguello v Ray Mancini
Aaron Pryor v Alexis Arguello 1 and 2
    Meldrick Taylor v Buddy McGirt
Meldrick Taylor v Julio Cesar Chavez
    Ray Mercer v Bert Cooper
Anything Orlando Canizales, Salvador Sanchez, Donald Curry, Mike McCallum, Pernell Whitaker, Julian Jackson, Gerald McClellan, Terry Norris, vintage James Toney and Bernard Hopkins, RJJ, Ali, Joe Frazier, Larry Holmes, Ray Mercer, Mike Tyson, etc etc etc

Well maybe my list gets to be more modern at the end, but all these fighters are throwbacks to the golden 70s and 80s era of boxing. Beats the hell outta watching Cocaine Calslappy pitching a fit against Kessler or some other nobody.

Oh and by the way, Ray Robinson hit like a tank he colded kids with one shot. I don't know much about boxing before the 60s, but from what I've seen boxing technique started to take off with Joe Louis, Jersey Joe Walcott, Ezzard Charles. Those are the only three heavyweights worth watching in my opinion from black and white days.

It takes a while to be impressed with Monzon...I was very underwhelmed the first time I saw him and nearly every new boxing fan brought up on the athletic and flashy Americans of today will feel the same way.

It just takes times thats all.
