Sparred with coach today and did very very good but i have 2 bad habits.. 1 of them is im not decisive, i would give a jab then pull it back but that shouldn't be a problem. The real bad one is i leave my legs wide open when i try to slip counter, I go in, Jab, Cross, Step back from his counter then move in with the straight, i have a problem pulling the back leg with me after i go in with the front, theory wise whilst im doin anythin other than sparring i get it right but i move so much in the ring i forget to get my foot with me.. Advice?

Practice it slowly and get the technique right and then do it over and over and over and over again and speed it up until it's automatic. That's how I try to break a lot of my bad habits or get techniques down that I don't have time to think about in the ring. You got to make it instinct by drilling
Juxhin, I would go the other way on this one, as Fast as you can. Paralysis by Analysis comes to mind, its surprising how the body adapts to a set routine. Especially the Feet and Balance.
yea, the footwork alone isn't a problem tho, im a quick mover in the ring and i use reaction/reflex mainly, thing is whenever i try to go in with a combination i throw the first punch and dont drag my back foot infront with my front foot
Reaction Reflex, everybody does . ts the understanding of it where the problem is. To go forward Backfoot, Backward, frontfoot, Left, Rightfoot, Right Leftfoot, understand that ts simple .
