Juan Manuel Marquez is very well balanced and remains balanced whilst on the move.

Overall, astoundingly, Pacquiao demands attention in this regard now...remember back when his footwork was guff?

Good call on Mosely, he always seems to be able to adjust his positioning to box or blast depending on the oponent. The Margo fight was a beautiful exection of this I thought, the way he threw every shot with murderous intentions but looked so smooth doing it!

Can we count Floyd too? As for me he takes this one hands down if we are to agree he's technically now active?

I'm going to get ripped to shreds for saying this, I know he does not have the best foot work but a country mile, but...Wlad has 'effective' footwork given his particular set of attributes. He makes the most of his physical dimensions and sets up the jab by managing his range extremely well. However, his foot work is not what would traditionally be considered good, with the main problem being that he backs off in straight lines. But this is not a problem as he has developed his style so that it suits the physical advantages he has.

Bhop has fantastic economical foot work. Floyd is similar in this respect, minimal wastage of movement.

Amir Khan has shown much improved foot work, and let's be honest, he needs any defensive improvement that he can get.
