For a mere TWO pounds, Roach is saying Pacquiao isn't good enough

Of course you fight with two arms. But each arm only has a two inch advantage over Pacquaio. Not 4/5 like you make it out to be.

It's crazy though, according to you Floyd has a 72 inch reach. 6 feet! His arms are longer than his body?

like i said, wingspan is not as important as armpit to fist.

oh ****, how dumb can you be. of course that is possible. in so many cases that is the norm. get am measuring tape for gods sake. broad shouldere people like pbf and I would naturally have a long wingspan.

i have a 71 inch wingspan myself and i am just as tall as cotto. :rofl:rofl

idiot. get a measuring tape will you.

 You clearly did not read what I said properly.

Floyd has a 2 1/2 - 3 reach advantage over Pac. Not a 5 inch reach advantage like you make it out to be. That's a fact.

Eze's goal is to lower the credit that will go to Pac if he does beat Cotto so his achievement won't overshadow Floyd.

Pac is already past Floyd in terms of accomplishment, what is there to shadow?

It will be for the belt if it's contracted at 145, that's a welterweight fight.

Very good post. The difference between Pac and those guys is Pac won & won big...therefore in the eyes of the haters he cant be that good, his opponents must be just that bad.

Cotto landed quite a few body punches on Clottey who has an excellent guard.

Manny has never been hit by someone as strong as Cotto and he has been hurt by body punches in the past.

Cotto WILL land on Manny, and he will be hurt.

I almost, ALMOST feel like this fight is as easy to call as the Pac-Hatton fight was. I said that Pac would beat Hatton easily and he did. I predict the same for Cotto. Manny doesn't have the capabilities to box on the outside like a PBF or Guzman. He is an offensive-minded fighter and doesn't know how to fight any other way. If you look at his fights with JMM, he looked downright confused in the ring at times.

Just because you believe it would be the result, it doesn't mean it will happen.

You try to dismiss other people's opinion by making their arguments look flawed... by painting the idea that anything could happen... more often than not the opposite. But when it comes to your opinion, you treat it like things would happen with absolute certainty. Be consistent, mate.

Fallacious once more. This time you mentioned that anything could happen. Yet your argument is still entirely hinged on the premise that Cotto will certainly weigh the same no matter how much he officially weighs-in the day before the fight.

You say "im not saying it will happen." Guess what, you just did... read your first sentence in that post of yours.

So it begs the question, does Cotto always weigh the same during fight night in all of his welterweight bouts regardless of his official weight? What is his official weight vis a vis fight night weight in all of his WW fights?

i think roach wants 143 on the scales so he gets 155 in the ring. cotto is 160 or over in the ring fighting at 147. he will be draining into some vital tissues to lose the extra lbs of water, so he would need to lose the weight in camp, taking off some lean muscle(i don't see him having any fat). pac is walking around at about 150, so he doesn't want a welter fighting a middle on fight day. as good as he is i don't see pac competing against big welters. and going by this weight issue neither does roach.

there will always be excuses. how many times has pac proved people wrong yet he gets discredited, so i say fu## his critics, they dont mean ****. if you dont have respect for the guy or unwilling to give it to him because of 2 pounds( in his eighth weight division) then they never will.

Agree with a lot of your post. However, Cotto isnt near JMM in terms of skill. Hopefully the greater power will offset that

A lot of people are giving Cotto no chance. That's heavily under rating what Cotto can bring

If you don't find this fight not worth watching because of the 2 pounds, don't watch it.
