Including the guy I think the most of on this forum... The Giants win the SB!!

So much for the bogus undefeated season!

For the guys monitoring this one on the forum, it ties into boxing in the following, "classic" manner.

Rocky Marciano never lost in professional competition to anybody ... the New England Patriots, a possible undefeated champ at the professional level, just did! So we can now compare The ROCK with the NE Patriots.. one has proven to be a loser, the other never is, regardless of ANYTHING! Rocky never lost!

Marciano and the 72 Dolphins are the ONLY unbeating and untied champs of boxing and football.

New England was Larry Holmes, He got there but trip over the finshing line.

I'm not really comparing the two, as you probably know, Dempsey. I'm just very happy for the NYG fans - they did the JOB!

You could say that...but keep in mind that the 1972 Dolphins had a shorter season than the Patriots did this year.

Ecstatic that the Giants won, though!

All the Redskins fans will be getting their voodoo on for next season, given the tradition...

Many a team has won the FA cup without losing (by default) or being untied in Football...;)

Gridiron seems an very unfair sport in that a team can win 18 matches and still not win the championship.

They have started to do the same in Britain with Rugby Union and league, and although you get a big final match, it does cheapen the Championship some what, if a team that has not done best all season ends up winning.

Yeah and keep in mind that Larry Holmes had more fights.
